Bloons Wiki

Wildberry Princess' defence mechanism spells disaster for bloons. Her radial attack makes her great for defending tight corners.
~ BATTD Description
Fires bloon popping berries in a tight radius.

Wildberry Princess (for more information, see Wildberry Princess) is a Rare ally in Bloons Adventure Time TD. She attacks bloons by shooting berries in 8 directions, much like the Tack Shooter from the BTD series. She can be equipped to Dungeon Finn, Finn, Flame Princess, Hunter Marceline, Ice King, Marceline, Princess Bubblegum, Supermonkey, Tuxedo Jake, and Warrior Bubblegum.

Strategy[]

Like many allies in BATTD, Wildberry Princess serves as an analog to an already established tower that would had been otherwise left to the wayside through adaptation, this case being analogous to the Tack Shooter. Though being slightly more costly than any other unupgraded Tack Shooter to date, her berries are able to pierce two bloons compared to the single bloons of a launched tack, making Wildberry Princess more akin to the BTD5 Blade Shooter without the prior upgrades. Like the analog towers, her berries are always launched at every 45 degrees.

With eight berries launched and two pierce per berry, an optimally placed Wildberry Princess can dish out 16 pops per launch. Though this may be rare, even a straight line can produce eight of those pops going onto the track to deal damage, and large MOAB-class bloons being big enough to take in the full eight damage per shot regardless.

Though a little costly, purchase of all the upgrades including Double Trouble helps to increase the power of Wildberry Princess substantially, effectively becoming a Tack Sprayer with Blade Shooter's piercing benefits. This makes an optimal (though exceedingly rare) case of 32 popping power per shot for a tower with a decent fire rate.

An obvious weakness, one Wildberry Princess shares with her analog Tack Shooter, is the lack of Camo detection and Lead Bloon popping power even when fully upgraded. This, on top of the introduction of the Ghost Bloon attribute leaves Wildberry Princess in need of assistance from other characters or being used only in situations where Camo or Ghost bloon modifiers are not applied to the map and normal bloons are in play.

Trivia[]

  • Unlike the Tack Shooter, Wildberry Princess has a set of normal targeting priorities like most other towers do. However, it has no effect on her attack behavior.
