Version History (BTD6)

A Version History is a list of different updates that have been made to a certain game, more specifically Bloons TD 6 in this case. This page will list every update that has occurred in BTD6, with primary focus on the iOS and Android versions, although sometimes versions from the Steam version may also be added too in some circumstances. Additional notes that have occurred on certain version may also be listed on each section, with particular attention to any interactions with the game that are not explicitly stated on the either the patch notes or the version notes. Images relating to certain major updates (and occasionally minor updates too) are also inserted to each update section as a visual complementary.

For purposes of page consistency, each BTD6 update is referred as "Version X.Y" (e.g. Version 24.1), where X is the main version and Y is the sub-version. Some players may refer it as "Update X.Y" or similar terms.

Bloons TD 6 is currently in Version 46.2, while Bloons TD 6+ is currently in Version 43.2. Bloons TD 6 Console is set in Version 32.5.1.

Note: Given dates are in New Zealand time. Interestingly, updates normally drop on either a New Zealand Thursday or Friday and normally between the time periods of 9:00am NZST and 3:00pm NZST.

Initial release on May 30, 2018. It was released as a pre-order. Later, around 4 days before the main initial release, it was available for notable Bloons YouTubers to play the game. They initially were not able to showcase any hero other than Quincy as well as not being able to show any Tier-5 upgrades, though it was then "loosened" to allow some Tier-5 upgrades to be shown.
