Hi people,

It has been a long time since a last news was posted here, however nothing important happened … until the big upgrade on Bloons TD 5 this week …

Bloons Universe

Bloons TD 5 iOS

Bloons TD 5

  • Bloons TD 5 got a big upgrade: Now, people can collaborate in a Co-op Mode. Two players play together on one track, one player places his towers on the left side of the map, while the other player places his towers on the right side of the map. An income from popped bloons and an income from finished rounds is divided, and both players get a half, no matter who popped more bloons. Players can also send money to their team-mate, or ask for monkey if they think they need it, and both players can chat for a better cooperation and/or socialization. Also, the game got 4 new tracks exclusive to the Co-op mode, and a lot of new achievements. For me, the Co-op mode is the greatest feature that I have ever seen in a tower defense genre. I played the game with my friend, I concentrated on farming with Banana Farms while he concentrated on the defense. When I had a good money income from the farms, I was able to send him a lot of money every round and our "monkey army" grew very quickly. Also Premium Upgrades work in the co-op mode, so we combined my Healthy Bananas with his Triple Lives, and we were almost invincible. Even thinks such as Monkey Village work as you would probably expected, so when you build the village, it also enhances your team-mate's towers that are in the village's radius.
  • This is not directly about a Bloons Universe, however … Ninja Kiwi has been running a new beta server. If you login with your Ninja Kiwi account there for the first time, you will be assigned to one of the 13 pre-defined clans (randomly, more or less). You can share your experience on the Which clan are you in? forum thread.

Bloons Wiki

  • A number of visitors fell this month, however it has risen again after the last update: We got around 120 300 visitors in last 7 days.
  • Number of helpful contributions made by unregistered contributors has risen too. Special thanks to the person from the IP range 151.77.X.X (151.77.171.155, 151.77.234.183, …) who has been helping us on our wiki for some time. I hope he/she will register on our wiki sooner or later.

Tip for Contributors

Here is what I wrote on the How to put a text correctly BELOW a table or a picture and NOT NEXT TO it blog post:

Hi,

If you put some text below a table (or picture) it may look like this:

Caption 1

text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text

text text text
text text text

Caption 2

If this happens and you want to put "Caption 2" BELOW the table (or picture) and NOT NEXT TO it you have two options what to do with it:

  • Put some empty lines below table (picture). But this is not a good solution because if somebody changes the size of the table (picture) then it may look bad again.

or

  • Switch to "Source mode" find the code of the table (picture) and put the following code under the table (between table and "Caption 2"):
<br style="clear:both" />

This will be the result:
