In particular, this article needs: A screenshot of Triple Shot.
Triple Shot is the 3rd upgrade of Path 2 for the Dart Monkey in Bloons TD Battles 2. It almost identical to its BTD6 counterpart, except cheaper. It throws 3 darts with the lateral darts spread about 30° degrees apart. Darts start with 2 pierce, and increase to 3 and 6 with Sharp Shots and Razor Sharp Shots, respectively.
Triple Shot is a respectable spaced and grouped option in the early-game, taking down them with relative ease when given suitable positioning. It is cheaper than Crossbow while still having a respectable damage output with the triple dart throws. Like Battles 1, Triple Shot can be quite strong in the early-game, but in Battles 2 there are other options that can achieve the same thing for cheaper while sustaining longer into the rest of the game. Placement and targeting is important to get the darts to aim favorably.
Tips[]
0-3-2 offers camo and a large amount of range, while 2-3-0 offers more pierce. The choice of crosspath mainly depends on the situation. Usually, 2-3-0 is more practical as an early-game excel.
Make use of targeting priorities to control the Triple Shot. Try to avoid making Triple Shot chase bloons by setting target priority to Close or Strong to alter where it aims.
Triple Shot can be used as a cheap anti-stall.

Trivia[]
In BTDB2, Triple Shot is the cheapest T3 and by T3 upgrade cost alone. Formerly, Spike-o-pult held position for the cheapest lone T3 cost, at $300, but this was overtaken by Triple Shot once the Spike-o-Pult got a price nerf to $450.
