“ | Explore Rosalia’s workshop and help defend it against Bloon incursion! Who knew orange juice had so many uses? | ” |
~ Ninja Kiwi, Version 43.0 Release Notes |
Tinkerton is an Beginner Map in Bloons TD 6. added in Version 43.0, on May 29, 2024, along with Rosalia, Boss Rush, and Promo Codes.
Overview[]
This map takes place at the outside of a factory, more specifically at the workplace of Rosalia’s scientific research. We see an orange tree, orange juice being pumped through a pipe, and a few drones performing various tasks, all seemingly powered by orange juice. One large vat of orange juice allows placements of water towers like Monkey Subs and Monkey Buccaneers, but the smaller concoctive vat with the swirly mixture is unable to support any towers. The orange juice containers on the bottom left can support land tower placement and allow these towers to see over obstacles.
Bloons enter above the pipes, travel along the direction of the pipes accordingly, and finally enter the grassy pathway.
Tapping on the rocket wobbles it, until pressing the 11th time, which launches the rocket, targeting the strongest bloon on screen and blasting it and nearby bloons. It deals 3 damage on hit and explodes dealing 50 damage, up to 16 bloons, 16 blast radius, and stuns all stunnable target bloons for 3 seconds. However do note the explosion can't damage camo bloons.
There are some additional interactable items that purely are visual. Tapping the whiteboard eventually flips it. One side of the whiteboard depicts a bunch of nonsensical maths equations ("2 + 2 =???", square root of a literal pie); the other side is a self-drawing of Rosalia, some oranges, and extra writing. Tapping on the book of munitions and oranges flips it open and automatically closes. Tapping on the topmost tree causes an orange to fall, which will then be picked up by a drone and carried off.
When the bloons enter the grassy pathway beyond the upper bend, they get slowed by 40% (like 0-0-0 Glue Gunner).

Trivia[]
- To "tinker" means to fiddle around with repairs. The name "Tinkerton" is likely a play on that definition of "tinker" and the "-ton" suffix used on some city names. Possibly inspired by Weezer's album name Pinkerton.
- The name "Tinkerton" is also a possible reference to the Pokemon "Tinkaton", tying in with Rosalia the BTD6 hero relating to "Roselia" the Pokemon, and both of these Pokemon are associated with femininity.
- The whiteboard on this map has Monklish text on both sides, the front translates to "To do" and the back translates to "Solve".
- One side of the whiteboard contains nonsensical mathematical equations and formulae. This trope is quite common in cartoons and TV shows, where "scientific" and "mathematical" calculations are written as random spam of mathematical functions, equations, and images, rather than logically constructing them in a formal format.
- 2 + 2 = 4, but Rosalia hasn’t solved for “???” yet.
- The square root of pi, which equals gamma(1/2) and is also used practically in normal distribution as a normalisation constant, is foolishly written as patent nonsense.
- The bubbles in the pipes on the track move in the direction that the bloons move, reversing the direction in reverse mode.
- When the game is set to fullscreen on a 16:9 display, the sign near the rocket on the desk has a cursor wider than normal cursor size but shorter than large cursor size.
