Super Glue is in pretty much all ways less superior than Icicle Impale at stalling blimps or dealing damage. So I decided to find a way to balance Super Glue so that it can become a little more useful while keeping appropriate to its role for stalling blimps and bloons:
- Change the Super Glue's main glue formula to slow blimps by 75% for 12 seconds instead of 37.5% for 12 seconds. This will be a useful addition to building what the Super Glue is meant to do, which is to provide insane stalling power against blimps and bloons.
- Change the Super Glue's on-impact mechanic to fully stun blimps upon impact on such blimps. The old stun-on-impact mechanic was a good mechanic before that got removed, but since we have the 50 damage on impact against blimps, I believe that it is safe to re-add the old stun-on-impact mechanic back to the old Super Glue.
- ZOMGs are fully stunned for 0.25s (instead of 90% slow for 0.75s).
- BFBs are fully stunned for 2.0s (instead of 95% slow for 2.5s).
- DDTs and MOABs are fully stunned for 5.0s, as per usual.
- Super Glue be able to penetrate through MOAB-class bloons if the Glue Soak crosspath is bought, and deal +5 damage per 2.0s against blimps when Corrosive Glue crosspath is bought. It would certainly make the Path 1 crosspath certainly a significantly more viable choice.
