Glue Trap can slow MOAB-Class Bloons, though the bigger the bloon, the more glue is used up.
~ In-game description

Supersize Glue Trap is a Powers Monkey Knowledge point in Bloons TD 6, added on initial release. It allows Glue Traps to target MOAB-Class Bloons, slowing them down by 50% for 30 seconds. However, all MOAB-class bloons consume more pierce from the Glue Trap: MOABs take 10, BFBs take 20, ZOMGs take 50, DDTs take 20, and does not target BADs or Boss Bloons since neither can be slowed down. It requires three points to be invested in the Powers Knowledge Tree and Mauling MOAB Mines.

Strategy[]

Summary[]

Supersize Glue Trap is an overall massive benefit, particularly in the late-game since MOAB-class bloons are more common by that stage. Glue Trap with Supersize Glue Trap MK may be worse at handling Super Ceramics by getting consumed quickly by MOAB-class bloons, but alternative defenses against Super Ceramics could be substituted to make up for the gain of a significant MOAB-class slowdown. In terms of Contested Territory on Regular Tiles (the only Tiles that enable MK), this MK Point has it has uses at slowing down Round 40 MOABs when the Glue Trap power is active.

Trivia[]

  • The upgraded Tube of Amaz-o-Glue would later take inspiration from the Supersize Glue Trap's capability to glue MOAB-class bloons at increased pierce consumption.
