1-2-0 Super Range Tacks
Super Range Tacks is the 2nd upgrade on Path 2 of the Tack Shooter in Bloons TD Battles 2. It is almost identical to its BTD6 counterpart. It increases range from 27 to 31, and gives a total of +8 range (+4 more than Long Range Tacks) and +1 pierce to all tacks. For Ring of Fire flame rings, they receive +10 pierce instead plus the bonus range. Special interactions to Inferno Ring give the meteor +1 pierce. Also more height for lower-tier Tack Shooters, slightly raising the origin of the sprays of tacks.

Summary[]
Super Range Tacks combines extra range with extra pierce. This upgrade is mostly useful for the +1 pierce, allowing the tacks to become more effective against grouped rushes, but the range bonus is helpful on certain maps (e.g. Koru) to barely let tacks reach other regions of track, which couples well with the +1 pierce. It also helps much for maximizing internal range and pierce of Ring of Fire and Inferno Ring.
Tips[]
- 2-2-0 is generally better on maps where straight horizontal-vertical-diagonal directions are better, but 0-2-2 is superior for dishing out grouped damage for cheaper.
