Sulfur Springs is an Intermediate difficulty map in Bloons TD 6. It was added in Version 41.0, on February 7th 2024, along with the Nautic Siege Core.
Overview[]
Sulphur Springs are set near active lava river. There is a large flat rock formation containing a lake, sitting in the middle of the lava river; this rock formation is enough to fit multiple medium-sized towers, and the bottom-left side is enough to fit a Monkey Village that can also cover across a wide area of that lake, or a Super Monkey. The rivers situated from the sides of the map are thick enough to fit multiple Buccaneers and Subs across a line. Two small flat rocks are situated inside the lava river, fitting up to the size of a Super Monkey.
Bloons travel the river circling each pillar once before exiting at bottom screen.
Land towers can be placed on the flat rock formations, and water towers on the lake and river but not the geysers.
Secret[]
One can hear a sound by clicking the geysers in the following combination: top-left, top-right, bottom-right, bottom-left. A sound effect is heard if this is done correctly. If not, the combination must be restarted.

Summary[]
Sulfur Springs is relatively easier than most Intermediate Maps, due to the relatively good loops for low-radius and high-radius area-of-effect towers to cover, decent water space in terms of central positioning and total area, excellent bouncing opportunities for Ultra-Juggernaut and Apex Plasma Master, and the single-lane nature of this map. The available land is rather generous, with enough space to place several land towers on the rock platforms plus plenty of free open space outside of the valley, and most positions on this map do not have intrusive Line of Sight. In terms of optimizing Monkeyopolis spots, Sulfur Springs can accommodate a decent amount of Farms for sacrifice.
Tips[]
- You can place a Monkey Village at the bottom-left corner of the centre pillar.
- The front is a decent spot for Pirate Lord to flank sides.
- An Ultra-Juggernaut in the middle of any of the low-ground rock formations would become super effective at bouncing around the interior of the track, causing crazy destruction. Same applies for Apex Plasma Master.
- The start is suitable for The Tack Zone on Ranked Boss runs. For instance, Tack Zone can be used on early tiers of Dreadbloon to destroy non-Primary layers in combination with Embrittlement.

Trivia[]
- Sulfur Springs was announced as "Sulphur Springs" in the Version 41.0 patch notes and preview notes, but Sulfur Springs in-game. This is an inconsistency among British spelling and American spellings of "sulfur". Sulfur is a chemical element (and the 16th element on the periodic table).
