Achievement description

Student Loans is an achievement in Bloons TD 6, first added on Version 29.0. It is achieved by going into $400,000 in debt. Earning this achievement will reward 3 Cash Drops.

Strategy

Summary

Lots and lots of IMF Loans are required to spam across. It may help to utilize the Bank Deposits MK to speed up the process of spamming IMF Loans. Since most maps cannot fit enough Banana Farms to accumulate that much debt, you'll have to sell towers with debt accumulated to be able to take out more loans.

Tips

• Use a map with lots and lots of space (Try End of the Road). Lots of IMF Loans are required for this achievement.
• Geraldo's Rejuv Potion can help with acquiring loans faster by refreshing newly bought IMF Loans' abilities.

• The achievement "Student Loans" is a reference to the large amounts of debt that students coming from United States colleges or universities receive.
  • In the United States, college graduates have an average of $39,351 of debt, totaling over 1.75 trillion US dollars.
• "4 x 10^5" is the scientific notation for 400,000.
• The number 400,000 itself doesn't have much significance on its own, but "400,000 dollars" is possibly a reference to the Meet the Heavy video, where the Heavy states a calculation about his machine gun, saying it "costs $400,000 to fire this weapon... for 12 seconds". Such a quote has spawned various memes across the TF2 community, and given BTD6 meme culture often linking to content related to Team Fortress 2, it is not inconclusive to assume this phenomenon has a direct connection.
