“ | Extra strong brew has even more powerful effect on the target. Lasts even longer. | ” |
~ BTDB2 description |
Stronger Stimulant is the 4th upgrade on Path 1 of the Alchemist in Bloons TD Battles 2. It is similar to its BTD6 counterpart, except slightly cheaper. It is an improved version of Berserker Brew, lasting much longer and for more shots. Stronger Stimulant potions also grants +3 pierce, +17.8% attack speed, +15% range, and the unchanged +1 damage.
It costs $2,800, and is unlocked after purchasing Alchemist.
Strategy[]
Summary[]
It is a powerful choice for enhancing performance of more than one tower, in addition to giving full uptime on up to moderately fast towers. It gives bonus attack speed, pierce, damage, and range. Players familiar with BTD6 meta strategies may be familiar with Alch-buffing towers that attack moderately fast and shoot a Spray of projectiles per shot or attacks that add Burst . Read the "Alchemist Brewing Strategy" page to see more information on what is optimal for Alch buffs.
Stronger Stimulant is better than Berserker Brew at providing a reliable buff, but requires a large amount of money spent. However, a well-utilized Stronger Stimulant buffing the optimal towers is a nearly unstoppable combo until Grouped MOABs and Spaced BFBs are unlocked. Such brew works extremely well on multi-projectile towers that attack moderately fast. A notable example is Bloonjitsu + Stronger Stimulant.
Tips[]
- 4-0-0 is usually sufficient, but 4-0-1 is usually better for the faster AMD for a rather decent price. 4-2-0 is better for brewing fewer targets, in addition to a limited amount of Perishing Potions offense.
