~ "Striken BAD" long description |
Striken BAD is a Tutorial Quest in Bloons TD 6, added in Version 37.0. It requires Level 60 to unlock. Upon completing the quest, the reward is one 0-4-0 Monkey Sub Insta Monkey.
Overview[]
The player begins on Medium CHIMPS with $650 starting cash, 1 life, and a pre-placed defense consisting of Level 1 Gwendolin, two 0-3-2 Dragon's Breaths, one 4-2-0 Ring of Fire, a 4-2-0 Primary Mentoring, a 0-2-3 MOAB Glue, a 2-0-5 The Tack Zone, and the everso vital 0-4-2 First Strike Capability. It is set on In The Loop. With this defense, the 0-4-2 Sub on the map is the only tower that is capable of dealing the most damage to the BAD and skipping its layers at all, as much of the BAD-shredding is at the front of the map, and only enough to deal about half of the damage that two separate First Strike abilities can achieve. The player must strike the BAD once it is at its weakest, and kill it in one shot; this is assisted by activating First Strike immediately, waiting for its cooldown, and then executing the penetrating blow.
Before the player engages with strategizing that particular "matador" strike onto the critically damaged BAD, Patch tells the player about the value of First Strike to finish off a BAD on Round 100. She then advises the player to activate the First Strike ability to hurt the BAD, and once more to finish off the entire BAD and its insides.

Once the player achieves that clean kill, which is the only way to win this challenge, the player wins. Patch arrives once more to comment on the efficiency of First Strike's single-target prowess.

Trivia[]
- The 4-2-0 Tack Shooter and the 0-3-2 Wizard Monkey closest to the Glue Gunner are named towers.
- It is also possible to win this quest by leaving behind the children of the BAD's ZOMG insides (BFB or lower?) and using the defense to clean them up.[1]
- In the CSV file for 37.0 descriptions, there is an unused dialogue that Patch would say after losing for the first time in this quest: "That timing can be tricky. Give it another shot!". It is not added to this quest for unknown reasons.
