Double Shot Buccaneer shooting two darts per shot, demonstrating Straight Spray. Note the parallel projectiles.
Straight Spray is an attack style characterized by a parallel spray of projectiles moving in the same direction, usually with a bit of spacing apart from each projectile. It is part of the damage types family.
Straight Spray is represented on the Bloons Wiki as
, the upgrade icon for Monkey Buccaneer's Double Shot in Bloons TD 6, as it is one of the most basic examples of multiple projectiles parallel to each other, even if the upgrade icon says otherwise. It is different from Angular Spray
, because all projectiles affected by the Angular Spray property move in different but equal angles from each other.
The classic example of Straight Spray is Monkey Buccaneer's Double Shot. Other examples include BTD6 Aircraft Carrier's ace front darts, Heli Pilot darts, and BTD6 Apache Dartship missiles (although they can home at bloons).
Most Towers require an upgrade to gain Straight Spray, except the Heli Pilot, which comes with this by default.
