Straight Movement is an attack behavior characterized by a Monkey throwing or shooting all projectiles in a straight direction. It is part of the damage types family. The majority of the monkeys in Bloons TD Series utilize projectiles that are shot straight.
Straight Movement is represented on the Bloons Wiki as , the upgrade artwork for Ninja Discipline in Bloons TD 6, which depicts a shuriken being shot in a straight direction. Straight Movement is distinguished from Lobbing because the moving projectile with the Lobbing property will always land in a certain location after fully reaching the projectile's trajectory, whereas Straight Movement continues moving in the same direction it is currently moving at. Straight Movement can be overridden by any form of Seeking unless there are no bloons on screen; this can be observed when using Ninja Monkeys with Seeking Shuriken.
The Dart Monkey is the core example of Straight Movement. Tack Shooter is another example of this, as all its 8 tacks are shot each in a straight line. Bomb Shooter shoots bombs that are initially shot in a straight line but explode with an area-of-effect once it collides with a bloon. In the case of Monkey Sub and other homing-related Monkeys, the projectile is shot straight initially and only homes once it detects bloons.
