Sticky Bomb on a MOAB

Sticky Bomb is a status effect in Bloons TD 6. Any target, especially blimps, affected by this status effect will produce a devastating explosion onto that target and all nearby bloons other than its descendants. It takes a pre-determined amount of time for that explosion to take effect.

Bloons Wiki represents this status effect with Sticky Bomb (unspecified stickybomb variant), the asset of the projectile for the Sticky Bomb attack. This status effect does not have an immediate reaction and will take some time before the status effect reacts. Once enough time elapses, the sticky bomb will instantly deal a large amount of damage to the affected blimp but not to its descendants, along with a deadly secondary explosion. Blimps affected by this will have a sticky bomb attached to it. Attacks with this status effect have Target Blimp Target Blimp(s) (unspecified types of bloons targeting, and quantity) too, although sticky bombs can unintentionally attach onto bloons lower than MOAB. Multiple of the same type cannot stack, but different types can stack.

The status effect itself, once the initial countdown timer wears off, causes an Impact Impact damage on the blimp originally attached with the sticky bomb status effect, and at the same time causes an Area of Effect Area of Effect explosion as a Burst Burst (unspecified variant) + Shrapnel Shrapnel (unspecified quantity and angle), as secondary sticky bomb explosions cannot affect the blimp originated from that sticky bomb.

Sticky Bomb and Master Bomber in Bloons TD 6 are the only towers to inflict this status effect. Master Bomber's sticky bombs are separate from the original Sticky Bomb's sticky bombs, and use the subset of the Sticky Bomb Sticky Bomb (unspecified stickybomb variant) status effect, Master Sticky Bomb Master Sticky Bomb (unspecified stickybomb variant), instead. Therefore, both status effects can be on the same blimp.

Sticky Bomb status is technically a status effect, as it is an applied effect that lingers onto the affected Bloon. Strangely enough, Sauda Level 11+ considers Bloons affected a sticky bomb to count as “harmed” according to Extra Damage to Harmed Extra damage versus bloons inflicted by any valid status effect (unspecified damage).
