Standard Mode icon

Standard Mode (shortened in-game as Standard) is a sub-mode that is distinctly introduced in Bloons TD 6. Although previous games have their own separate modes for Easy, Medium, and Hard, Standard Mode is the default sub-mode type in Bloons TD 6. Standard Mode has no specific modifiers, and is only influenced by the modifiers of its parent mode (i.e. Easy, Medium, Hard).

By default, Sandbox Mode is also set on Standard Mode rules as well.

Modes[]

On Standard, all games have no game modifiers besides the modifiers from Easy, Medium, or Hard. In contrast, other sub-modes such as Deflation or Primary Monkeys Only, or added rules that are present in Challenge Editor, modify the conditions of the game notably differently.

Easy[]

On default games on Easy, players start with $650 cash, 200 lives, towers and their upgrades are 85% cost (i.e. 15% cheaper), bloons move ~10% slower, and the Round 40 MOAB spawns with 66% health. On game modes with modified cash amounts or life amounts (e.g. Challenge Editor), the only real modifiers are the price changes, bloon speeds, and Round 40 MOAB health.

Medium[]

On default games on Medium, players start with $650 cash, 150 lives, towers and their upgrades are 100% cost, and bloons move at standard speed. Medium is the standard conditions.

Hard[]

On default games on Hard, players start with $650 cash, 100 lives, towers and their upgrades are 108% cost (i.e. 8% more expensive), and bloons move ~15% faster. On game modes with modified cash amounts or life amounts (e.g. Challenge Editor), the only real modifiers are the price changes and bloon speeds.

Trivia[]

  • The filename for the Standard Mode icon is BlueRoundPlayBtn.png, and the only sub-mode button that doesn't correlate to a gamemode regardless of final name of the gamemode referred.
