0-1-2 Glue Gunner applying Standard Glue onto affected bloons
Standard Glue is a status effect characterized by the use of glue to slow down bloons. It is part of the damage types family. It has appeared since Bloons TD 2, with the introduction of the Monkey Glue, but has been added since Bloons TD 4 in the Glue Gunner ever since this game.
Standard Glue is represented on Bloons Wiki as 
, the upgrade artwork for Glue Soak in Bloons TD 6, which appears like a glued bloon. The reason why this status effect is named "Standard Glue" and not just "Glue" is due to the glue prioritization system in Bloons TD 6 introduced since Version 3.0; the higher the corrosiveness of the glue, the higher rank the glue becomes.
Bloons affected by Standard Glue will be accompanied by a Slowdown 
, and ordinary bloons guarantee to be affected with this. Standard Glue cannot stack with other variants of Standard Glue but stronger variants of Glue will replace the default Standard Glue status effect with a glue of a higher rank. Once a bloon is glued by any means, the standard glue cannot affect the same bloon again until the glue wears out, be it naturally or unnaturally.
Pink Glue (represented as 
) is a variant of Standard Glue that is colored pink. Generally speaking, these tend to also have the capability to slow down blimps and have higher glue priorities than normal types of glue. Since Slowdown MOAB 
is already taken by MOAB Glue, Pink Glue is represented as the upgrade icon of Relentless Glue in BTD6.
Glue Gunners traditionally have this type.
