Sprockets Sentry Gunner

Sprockets is the 3rd upgrade of Path 1 for the Engineer Monkey in Bloons TD Battles 2. It is almost identical to its BTD6 counterpart, except its upgrade price is decreased but overall cost the same due to the base Engineer cost being higher, and otherwise retaining similarities to its BTD6 pre-33.0 counterpart. Sprockets increases attack speed of the nailgun attack and newly spawned sentries by +66%.

Its costs $525, and can be unlocked with the purchase of Engineer Monkey.

Strategy

Summary

Sprockets has a respectable early-game with its high DPS. More importantly, there is a special crosspathing interaction with 3-0-2 that lets sentries apply Pin too, making it much stronger against regular bloons in the pre-10's rounds.

General Tips

• Spamming 3-2-0 in the late game with damage debuffs such as Cripple MOAB, Super brittle or Glue storm can shred BADs, Although the insides and the super Ceramics are problematic
