Spellbook

The Spellbook is an activated ability of the hero Corvus, that allows him to access a variety of spells. This ability does not appear on the Abilities menu, and is instead accessed only by tapping on Corvus and clicking his ability from there. Spellbook has no cooldown; it can be accessed at any time.

It is a type of UI similar to that of Geraldo's Shop. It can learn abilities that upgrade through Corvus. Like Geraldo's Shop, tap on the ability button to access. The player can go back from his book by pressing the "X" symbol to exit off the book menu. Alternatively, the hotkey for “Monkey Special” (default: PageDown) can be pressed to activate his book while in his menu. Corvus's main menu and his book menu save state depending on if either menu was last active.

Spells[]

Corvus has up to 16 unique spells. Each spell is unlocked at a different level and costs different Mana to use. Some spells are purely a single activation, while some spells gradually drain Mana alongside the initial activation.

Initially, Corvus's Spellbook gains the Spear, Repel, and Nourishment spells. He learns new spells over levels, which he adds to the Spellbook. He also improves pre-existing spells over levels.

Spear Spear 100 Level 1 The Spirit gains a slow firing energy spear that arcs off small chain lightnings each time they pierce.
Aggression Aggression 80 Level 5 The Spirit grows in size and attacks faster.
Malevolence Malevolence 60 Level 7 The Spirit merges with the Spellbook and releases an intense, Bloon popping mist around Corvus.
Corvus Storm Storm 120 Level 8 The Spirit unleashes an onslaught of energy blades.
Repel Repel 150 Level 1 The Spirit gains a forcefield that pushes Bloons back whenever they are touched.
Echo Echo 300 Level 3 The Spirit splits itself in two. Commands sent to one are sent to both. The Echo always targets first.
Haste Haste 50 Level 3 The Spirit movement and turning speed are greatly increased.
Trample Trample 180 Level 4 A stampede of spirits moves down the track, crushing bloons they pass.
Frostbound Frostbound 170 Level 5 The spirit freezes Bloons that it hits for a short time.
Ember Ember 150 Level 6 The Spirit leaves a fire droplet on the track every few seconds that burns Bloons going through them.
AncestralMight Ancestral Might 440 Level 7 The spirit merges with the Spellbook, channeling the hand of the Ancient One to do massive damage.
Overload Overload 520 Level 13 The Spirit detonates with overwhelming energy. A moment later the Spirit rebuilds from the whispy remnants.
Nourishment Nourishment Current Quantity Level 1 Sacrifices all Mana and converts it into Hero XP. (Level 1-19)
Consumes all Mana and converts it into Cash. (Level 20)
SoulBarrier Soul Barrier 40 Level 4 Temporarily use Mana in place of lives when bloons get past your defenses.
Vision Vision 170 Level 5 Temporarily lets the Spirit see Camo bloons, and remove Camo property from anything it hits.
Recovery Recovery 140 Level 10 All spells are stopped, all attacks are paused. Corvus and the Spirit go into a deep meditation to replenish spells at a rapid rate.
