“ | Adds another ability which deploys a powerful special Monkey Marine with machine gun. The crates are worth more cash and trigger all other crate drop abilities not on cooldown. | ” |
~ BTDB2 description |
Special Poperations is the fifth and final upgrade of Path 2 for the Heli Pilot in Bloons TD Battles 2. In addition to the Supply Crate and Redeploy abilities, it gains the Marine ability. Unlike its BTD6 counterpart, each crate gives $8000 and 15 lives; this is double cash generation compared to its previous upgrade but without any extra lives.
It costs $30,000 and is unlocked with the other Heli Pilot tier 5 upgrades for 1500.

Special Poperations's Crate Ability spawns a single crate on a 60 second cooldown with an initial cooldown of 15 seconds.
The crate will give $8,000 and 15 lives. Lives can go above maximum and there appears to be no upper limit. [insert payoff stuff like the Poperations article]
Redeploy Ability[]
Official Name The term "Redeploy Ability" is a term popularized by fans and is confirmed by official sources (e.g. in-game, Ninja Kiwi blog). |
Special Poperation's Redeploy Ability allows the Poperations to pick up almost any tower and reposition them to another location. Cooldown of 60 (?) seconds.

Poperations's Marine Ability allows the Poperations to drop a sub-tower (Marine) in a selected spot.
Strategy[]
Summary[]
Special Poperations is an improved Support Chinook that also has an offensive Marine ability that adds a decent chunk of DPS.
Tips[]
- Choose 0-5-2 crosspath to increase blowback and also, most importantly, boost attack speed of Marine. Autonomous movement of the placed Marine via 2-5-0 isn't very useful, as it doesn't gain any other benefits from that crosspath.
