Sky Shredder is the 5th upgrade on Path 1 of the Monkey Ace in Bloons TD Battles 2. It is similar to its BTD6 counterpart, with some increased strength. When compared to its BTD6 counterpart, the BTDB2 counterpart attacks even faster, and Anti-MOAB missiles deal more damage and pierce, as do the dart pierce. If given the Spy Plane crosspath, it gains Camo Prioritization, causing all missiles to target DDTs over other types of MOAB-class bloons.

It blasts out 32 darts at a time at twice the speed as the previous upgrade. Each dart attacks every 0.27s and gains increased projectile speed and deals 3 damage with 14 pierce (18 pierce with Sharper Darts), and deals +2 damage to Ceramics. Its twin anti-MOAB missiles gained from Fighter Plane deal colossal damage to MOAB-class Bloons, each dealing 200 damage to up to 6 blimps at a time (+2 blimps with Exploding Pineapple), destroying groups of weaker blimps with ease and dealing big damage to stronger blimps, and are shot every 2.0s. Additionally, all Sky Shredder attacks can damage all bloon types except Camo, including Lead and Black Bloons. Crosspathing with Spy Plane allows it to detect camo and lay waste to any bloon type.

It costs $40,000, and is unlocked with the other tier 5 Monkey Ace upgrades for 1500.

Sky Shredder does a large amount of widespread damage through its multitudes of darts and highly damaging anti-MOAB missiles. Its main use case is for general MOAB-class damage via anti-MOAB missiles and general cleanup via its widespread darts. It is a fairly reliable Monkey Ace option against Round 26-27 DDTs including Fortified DDTs.

Tips[]

5-2-0 crosspath is usually better to maximize its DDT damage and also to detect camo including DDTs.
