Skates

Skates is an Beginner Map in Bloons TD 6. It was first released on the Version 22.0 update, along with the Advanced Map X Factor and the Dartling Gunner.

Overview[]

This map is set on an ice rink, with thick ice covered mostly throughout the map. Bloons enter from the top, loop around, and exit to the right. The houses on the right curve block Line of Sight.

Unlike most Beginner maps, the houses inside of the right curve can be sunk for $500, revealing a plot of water.

Clicking on the penguins makes them jump into the water. A penguin will waddle over to the water, prepare to block its "nose" (actually its beak) before jumping into the water.

Tips[]

Due to the amount of water and land, you can make use of all the towers.
The trees at the bottom left and top right corners don't allow for towers to be placed, limiting Banana Farm spam.

Skates is the first Beginner Map to have a removable obstacle. Previously released Beginner Maps lack removable obstacles.
Skates is the first winter-themed BTD6 map to not use the "Winter Nights" theme. Instead, it uses the "Tribes and Tribulations" theme.
Skates is the first map to be used in Bloonarius boss events for three times.
