Increases attack speed and pierce of nearby Ninjas. Stacks 10 times.

~ BTDB2 description
Shinobi Tactics is the 3rd upgrade of Path 2 for the Ninja Monkey in Bloons TD Battles 2. Like its BTD6 counterpart, it is an upgrade designed to bought in large groups, with each Shinobi Tactics ninja boosting the pierce and attack speed of nearby ninjas. Compared to BTD6, however, each Shinobi Tactics provides double the buffs (specifically 0.85x attack cooldown multiplier and +16% additive pierce) for about twice the cost but can only stack up to 10. This means that each individual Shinobi tactics has a powerful effect on nearby ninjas. This is to account for the much smaller space to place Shinobi Tactics due to slighty over half the screen being reserved for the opponent's screen and the UI.
It costs $2,000, and is available after purchasing Ninja Monkey.
Shinobi Tactics' buffs significantly increase the power of nearby Ninjas, giving them an edge in performance. This is especially so for upgrades such as Sticky Bomb and Bloonjitsu, and most importantly the Tier 5 upgrades Grandmaster Ninja and Master Bomber. Many Shinobi Tactics Ninjas are a great way to boost various types of Ninjas, as well as effectively handling stray bloons with its built-in Distraction and Counter-Espionage.
Tips[]
Many Shinobi Tactics ninjas are a great way to boost Sticky Bomb, as well as effectively handling any stray clumps of ceramics from popped MOAB-class bloons.
Combining large Shinobi armies with Permanent Brew affecting them and/or Bloonjitsu allows for significant coverage of extra DPS.

“
Ninja Monkey is a little bit lacking in early game popping power, only being effectively utilised when paired with another tower like an Alchemist. We have made some price cuts and improvements so that its early and unused upgrades are slightly better.

We have increased Ninja’s early-game potential since it stood out as a tower with relatively low DPS in the early game, always depending on another tower to deal the damage or to buff it. [...]
