Set Target is a targeting option for the Mortar Monkey (Mortar Tower), first introduced in the Bloons TD 4 Generation, and later added to the BTD5 and BTD6 Generation with subsequent releases of Mortar Monkey. The Set Target targeting option allows the tower to lock at a very specific point. It is usually the only option for Mortar Monkey, except in BTD5 with a Specialty Building called the Mortar Emplacement, which grants basic targeting priorities for the Mortar.
BTD5 Dartling Gun and BTD6 Dartling Gunner both have an equivalent of Set Target called "Locked" (or "Fixed" in BTD5).
