Shurikens will seek out and pop bloons automatically.
~ BTDB2 description

Seeking Shuriken is the 1st upgrade of Path 3 for the Ninja Monkey in Bloons TD Battles 2. It allows shurikens to seek at bloons, and unlike its BTD6 counterpart it doesn't add more range.

It costs $200.

Strategy[]

Summary[]

Seeking Shuriken allows shurikens to seek at bloons, allowing them to hit bloons more easily. Shuriken seeking allows each shuriken to chase fast bloons better and also likely use most of its pierce. This upgrade pairs well with Ninjas along the top path, which primarily use Shurikens.

Tips[]

  • Try adding it with 2-0-1, which is cheap and provides a decent amount of popping power in early rounds.

Trivia[]

  • In BTDB2, this is the only variant of Seeking Shuriken that does not cost $250 as its base cost. Note that Medium Difficulty is considered the "base cost" in both BTD5 and BTD6.
