Royal Treatment is a Relic Knowledge exclusive to Contested Territory in Bloons TD 6. When active, it grants purple-popping power for all towers. In addition, it allows all towers to target Purple Bloons, such as Psi before Level 11, and Alluring Melody's alluring auras. Royal Treatment also allows towers to damage Blastapopoulos.
Strategy[]
Summary[]
If Purples are an issue, this is the perfect Relic to pick. Since a majority of the cost-effective high DPS and/or high pierce towers contain a notable weakness to Purples, Royal Treatment especially sees best use on Wizard Monkeys, Path 1 Super Monkeys, Ring of Fire, and Plasma Accelerator, as well as Gwendolin if heroes are enabled. It also sees use on Sentry Champion in Least Tiers challenges, as the majority of its popping power come from the Champion Sentries rather than the nailgun (which pops Purple, but insufficient).
In terms of game modes, Royal Treatment serves well for Least Tiers and Least Cash when opting for minimal amounts of towers, in addition to Time Attack if the majority of the high-pierce options involve fire attacks (especially Gwendolin, Dragon's Breath, and Ring of Fire).
Tips[]
- The single-best uses of Royal Treatment is in combination with Wall of Fire and its subsequent upgrades. Dragon's Breath in particular benefits from this, as it only would need something to handle BFBs and above in addition to hyperdense bloon rounds such as Round 63.
- If using a strategy that primarily relies on attacks whose damage type involve Fire or Plasma, this Relic may serve key. Notable examples include Dragon's Breath, Gwendolin, and Archmage.
- Gwendolin is best benefactor from this relic, as her only true weakness is Purple Bloons. Due to both abilities capable of popping Camo Bloons, Royal Treatment enables her to reach 1 Tier scores on most regular tiles.

Trivia[]
- The color purple was a symbol of royalty and wealth in early history, as purple dye was extremely rare to obtain in nature, and thus became a symbol of social significance. Royals in ancient history would wear purple to represent their power and wealth.
- The first purple dye was Tyrian purple, a natural dye extracted from the mucus of Murex snails. Thousands of these sea snails would be required to create just a few grams of dye, in addition to an intricate process of the dye.
- Cyrus the Great, the founder and king of the first Persian Empire, was among the first to assign the color purple into royalty.
- "Royal purple" is another name for Tyrian purple.
- The only instance of Blastapopoulos not getting affected by Royal Treatment was the first Boss Rush week containing Blastapopoulos in the Version 45.0 series.
