Round 31 is a round in Bloons TD 6. The round is characterized by numerous Thermal Bloons, including several Regrow Zebra Bloons. It is modelled closely to its BTD5 counterpart, except with added Black Bloons and White Bloons.
Description[]
Black and White Bloons will enter in spaced pairs, with 8 pairs in total. Immediately afterwards, 8 Zebra Bloons will enter, with identical spacing. Following them are 2 very spaced Regrow Zebras.
Strategy[]
Summary[]
Round 31 serves as a minor test for popping of Thermal Bloons, as well as a challenge for popping recursively generating Regrow Bloons via the two Regrow Zebras in this round. Be sure to have popping power that does not rely entirely on Ice Monkeys and Bomb Shooters, except upgrades that counter White/Black properties such as Cluster Bombs and Icicles. And keep in mind that popping the bloons quickly and not divided across the map is key to avoid Regrow Zebras overwhelming the defense.
Tips[]
- Druid of the Jungle helps render the Regrow useless by stripping Regrow via its aftervines. It can also help get rid of the Zebras on this round and chip the rest of the bloons into manageable chunks.
- Wall of Fire is another reliable option against this round, as its blazes can quickly take care of the bloons that touch them.
- Moderately quick multi-layer attacks such a Crossbow, Arcane Mastery, or Tack Hot Shots may help ease the round by penetrating the tougher layers. Alternatively, accurate multi-projectile options that attack moderately quickly such as Ninja Double Shot or Airburst Darts can be utilized to pop the bloons quick enough to reduce the power of the Blacks, Whites, and Zebras.
- Note that Round 31 is the first round that Rare Quincy Action Figure starts degrading its rate of extrapolation, going down from +10% per round to +5% per round.
