Round 24 is a round in Bloons TD 4, Bloons TD 5, and Bloons TD 6. It is characterized primarily by introducing the Camo Bloon, specifically as one plain Camo Bloon (in BTD4) or a Camo Green since BTD5. In BTD5, the Camo Green is the sole bloon on this round, but in BTD6 there is more than just the Camo Green.
Description[]
- BTD4
Just one Camo Bloon spawns.
- BTD5
Just one Camo Green spawns.
- BTD6
One Camo Green spawns, and 20 Blues follow afterwards.
Strategy[]
The main takeaway from this round is a warning of the presence of Camo Bloons, and a small reminder that camo detection will be a necessity in later rounds. The best solution is the 0-0-0 Ninja Monkey, which can be upgraded later on to counter Camo Bloons in later rounds.
Other easily affordable ways of beating 24 is a 0-0-2 Dart Monkey, a 0-0-0 Spike Factory, and just about any camo upgrade.
The Blue Bloons added into the round's BTD6 version do not pose much of a problem and can generally be beaten in a similar, if not easier, fashion to some of the earlier rounds; usually they are treated as a bonus $40.
It is possible to leak the Camo Bloon in this round on any difficulty easier than Impoppable Difficulty (If you don't have the Pre-Game Prep monkey knowledge that grants you road spikes at the end of the tracks or if the road spikes are gone) and survive. If the player fails to take heed of Round 24's warning, however, Round 33 and later will cause even more lives leaked by the camos, as the Pre-Game Prep Monkey Knowledge doesn't grant you enough road spikes to beat round 24 and 33 unless you're on a multi-lane map.
