Reward Booster

Reward Boosters menu on Steam since v2.1.2

Reward Boost is a currency booster. Reward Boosts increase the amount of rewards after battle. It was added since original release, though the only source of Reward Boosts are now from watched ads (mobile only) or tokens (Steam only) from the shop.

Reward Tokens is a currency exclusive to the Steam version, and is redeemable for special rewards, up to a max per day: Reward Boosts (up to 8), Daily Chest (every 4 hours), free Monkey Money (every 4 hours), reroll quest goal (up to 6 per day), extra quests (up to 3), extra Daily Bingo reward (once), and speeding progress for generating Club Tickets (up to 8).

Reward Boosts give +20% Tower XP and Hero XP, along with at least +20% Monkey Money after every game. MM reward is rounded to the next multiple (5 - 25 or below gives +5, 30-50 gives +10, etc).

Before Version 2.0, Reward Boosts could be earned via the now-retired Battle Chests and VIP. Starting in version 2.1.2, Reward Boosts can be claimed from the shop (on Steam only) every four hours instead of given automatically.

Strategy

Summary

Reward Boosts maximise the progress of gameplay. The best use cases for Reward Boosts after Version 2.0 is those that maximise overall savings of Monkey Money. Try to maintain a steady time schedule for picking up free Monkey Money rewards or getting new bling quests. For generation of XP, either the least experienced towers or the most experienced towers is often optimal for making the most of them.

• Reward Boosts are especially precious for free-to-play players.
