Resurrected Blimps (also referred as Chained MOABs or Lych's Minions) are bloons summoned by Lych. MOAB-Class Bloons except BADs recently popped within 20 seconds will be resurrected. Unlike their living counterparts they do not release any children bloons. They sport significantly higher health and move faster. In addition, Resurrected Blimps never inherit MOAB-class skins obtained via the Trophy Store, so will look distinct from their living counterparts.
Parent MOAB-Class Bloons that otherwise release weaker MOAB-Class Bloons are resurrected instead.
Health and Speed[]
Normal[]
Boss Tier | Bloons Sent on Skull (Popped Blimps below BAD, from the last 20 seconds) |
---|---|
1 | 1.6x speed and 4x health. |
2 | 1.7x speed and 6x health. |
3 | 1.8x speed and 7x health. |
4 | 1.9x speed and 8x health. |
5 | 2x speed and 9x health. |
Freeplay ramping at Tier 4+ Lych affects health and speed of all Resurrected Blimps due to affecting normal MOAB-class bloons. Rounds 81-100 ramp up speed and health by +2% per round, Round 101 suddenly jumps speed to +60%, Rounds 101-124 ramps up by +5% health and +2% speed per round, and Rounds 125+ (for purposes of Lych) +15% health per round and +2% speed per round. In total, expect up to 5x health and 2.38x speed, assuming Round 140.
Fortified Bloons have their health doubled.
In italics is theoretical but impossible in practice due to tier of Lych and the corresponding rounds per tier. Also, note that for Tier 3 and above that freeplay health and speed ramping are not taken into account on this table.

Strategy[]
Summary[]
Resurrected Blimps are not easy to destroy, because they move quickly and possess extreme amounts of health. They appear from recently popped MOAB-class bloons within the last 20 seconds. Not only that, Lych remains invulnerable until both Lych-Soul and all Resurrected Blimps are destroyed.
Tips[]
- On Tier 1 Lych and Tier 1 Elite Lych, MOAB Shove works well for stalling down MOABs for cheap.
- A Sticky Bomb Ninja Monkey with a few Shinobi Tactics Ninjas will be enough to kill Chained MOABs on T1. As scary as the ZOMG's health and the BFB's health is, you will have enough defence to shred through them so only be weary of the T1 Chained Fortified MOAB.
- Blimp instakills such as Pirate Lord, XXXL Trap, and Bloon Master Alchemist are very strong in the late-game, picking out Resurrected Blimps that may have went past the defenses. Pirate Lord can be used to pick off those that have stayed too long.
- At the highest tiers of Lych, Navarch of the Seas is an excellent option for minimizing the threat of Resurrected Blimps, as it instakills blimps early in addition to hooking them in quickly.
- A well-timed Spike Storm ability in advance will help eat away at Resurrected Blimps, assuming the formerly alive blimps did not advance too far along the track.

Trivia[]
- Theoretically, a resurrected DDT on Round 140 by Tier 5 Elite Lych would have around 14.399 RBS, affected by a +138% speed modifier from Freeplay and 6.05 RBS representing the base Resurrected DDT speed.
