Glued bloons create a small splat when popped which stuns nearby bloons. Glue Gunner gains camo detection.
”
~ BTDB2 description
Relentless Glue is the 4th upgrade on Path 3 of the Glue Gunner in Bloons TD Battles 2. It causes all popped bloons that were affected by the glue to stun up to 6 (7 with Bigger Globs, 10 with Glue Splatter) nearby bloons within a 12 radius, stunning non-blimps for 1 second, stunning MOABs and DDTs for 0.35s, BFBs for 0.2s, and ZOMGs for 0.06s. It has the MOAB Glue slowdown of 37.5% against MOAB-class bloons for 12s and 75% against bloons for 24s. Also, Relentless Glue directly detects Camo Bloons.
It costs $2000, and is unlocked with purchase of Glue Gunner.
Relentless Glue's stun effect is helpful for crowd control of various bloon types, provided the defenses actually regularly damage bloons nearby. The innate Camo detection it receives makes both it and its successor Super Glue able to affect DDTs without external support.
Tips[]
Like MOAB Glue, the 0-2-4 crosspath is usually better to maximize the MOAB Glue's slowdown effects versus MOAB-class bloons. 2-0-4 isn't as helpful compared to in BTD6 since there are many cheaper options that do better against dense packs of bloons, and without Path 2 crosspaths it has very low pierce.
Version History[]

Like the Ice Monkey, the Glue Gunner also hasn’t received much attention recently. We have decreased the cost of the Relentless Glue since the only real valuable thing about this upgrade is its camo detection, and the previous price tag was not justified for this.

4.0.2
Relentless Glue: No longer drops any puddles on the track
Relentless Glue: Every time a glued bloon layer gets popped, a small splat occurs which stuns nearby bloons (6 pierce and 12 radius). Stuns bloons for 1s, moabs/DDTs for 0.35s, BFBs for 0.2s, and ZOMGs for 0.1s
Relentless Glue’s puddles have never felt right on this upgrade path, barely being a noticeable addition in most cases. Therefore, we have removed the puddles and given this upgrade something else to offer instead - greater stalling potential with stunning splats that occur every time a glued bloon is popped.

4.2
Cost increased: $2,000 → $2,200
On-pop splats stun ZOMGs for 0.1s → 0.06s
“
It’s nice to see that Relentless Glue finally has more use, however it has offered a bit too much for such a cheap price on a tier 4 upgrade.

Trivia[]
Relentless Glue formerly had indirect camo detection via glue puddles, but this indirect camo detection has been promoted into direct camo detection for the main attack. This was in response to the original design of Relentless Glue, which dropped blobs of glue on the track when bloons get popped.
Before the Version 4.0.2 Relentless Glue rework, the blobs of glue actually had only 1 pierce and would last for 5.0s on the track.
The original description was "Popped Bloons that were glued, leave a blob of glue on the track." with the grammatical error of the comma.
