A random loadout from the Random Quad event.
R4 with players having the same tower and hero loadouts
Random Quad is a game mode event in Bloons TD Battles 2. It is only available as an Event Mode event, and is only accessible to players within the Yellow Stadium battle arena or greater. It lasts for 7 days.
Both players will get a random loadout of one hero and three towers. All towers and upgrades, including Heroes and Hero Alts, will be unlocked, regardless of XP amounts. If the map is re-rolled, the loadout is re-randomized; however, the map can only be changed before the towers are revealed.

Summary[]
Random Quad relies on being creative with the tower choices and hero choices given on a particular map. Using the choice of hero and map based on up to two/three choices, analyze the tower loadout to decide the underlying strategy. Certain loadouts may have a sore weakness to Camos, early-game defense, or late-game defense, so take a lookout for those in particular.
Tips[]
- Always find the camo options. Find decamo, external camo detection, and internal camo detection (e.g. Ninja, Dartlings with Advanced Targeting, Snipers with Night Vision Goggles), and use this information to gauge the viability of each tower against Camos.
- Always find the early-game options. Find options that are relatively cheap but have decent attack speed.
- If there are income options, do make use of them but don't get too carried away with farming income.
- Study towers to learn what are the best solutions to what. Ex. the Ninja Monkey's Flash Bomb is great with the Dart's Juggernaut.
- Random Quad is a test of knowledge. Check out the upgrades in the Towers menu or the patch notes to gain some ideas about a few towers.
- You can confuse your opponent so they can attempt to rush you and waste money not upgrading their towers, but you might leak and get 1-4 stars instead of 1-5(assuming First Blood counts since they can leak before you can, but its not impossible to not leak either).

- Random Quad is the first ever event to host a seasonal bling event, which was the halloween event in 2022.
- Random Quad was formerly the only Event Mode ruleset available until Version 1.4.0, when two rulesets Play With Fire and Speed Battles were added.
