Strategy[]
Summary[]
Quality soil is overall a decent upgrade for saving cash. It is much better than BTD6's EZ Collect, and its insane 20% discount is very much worth it over Valuable Bananas to maximize snowballing of income. Valuable Bananas is still worth it if there's plenty of cash but need maximized income production, however, but not together unless going for the 0-3-1 Bank to quickly access an early Bank.
Tips[]
- When buying Quality Soil as a crosspath, buy Quality Soil before the top or middle upgrades, to actually save money.
- All T3 upgrades save more money when affected by Quality Soil. For instance, the $2750 Banana Plantation upgrade would cost only a total of $2600 ($400 + $2200) if upgrading from 2-0-0 -> 2-0-1 -> 3-0-1.
- For T3, this is best on Banks, which depend hugely on snowballing its interest.

Trivia[]
- Contrary to its description, Quality Soil does affect bottom path upgrades. However, all of their prices were silently increased by 25% (except for Banana Salvage which got 50% price increase due to nerf) to accommodate this:
- Banana Salvage: $240 -> $300
- Marketplace: $2,800 -> $3,500
- Central Market: $13,000 -> $16,250
- Monkey Wall Street: $46,000 -> $57,500
