Podbfb — Undead BFBs produced by Prince of Darkness

Prince of Darkness is the 5th upgrade of Path 3 for the Wizard Monkey in Bloons TD Battles 2. It is roughly the same as the BTD6 counterpart prior to the BTD6 Version 30.0 reworks, plus a little more base power overall. Prince of Darkness can summon Undead Bloons, Undead MOABs, and Undead BFBs.

Prince of Darkness gets a huge range boost (from 40 to 80) on top of a much larger graveyard space and stacking of power. The graveyard capacity increases from 450 to 3000, and accumulates +1 damage every 300 graveyard space (max of +10 damage) for all attacks except Wall of Fire, and increases attack speed of the undead attack by a -10% attack cooldown per 200 graveyard bloons, up to 5 times at 2x attack speed. It buffs all Necromancers including itself, giving +1 damage to all Undead Bloons.

Undead MOABs deal 25 damage and pop up to 20 bloons with a 20s lifetime, and move backwards the track at 60% Red Bloon speed. Undead BFBs deal 130 damage, have 50 pierce with 12.5s lifetime, and move backwards the track at 60% Red Bloon speed. Aside from better scaling, the ordinary Undead Bloons have the same statistics as the Necromancer, including the consistent total 18 pierce of a group of 1-5 Undead Bloons with 18 consumed graveyard units per summon. After Round 30 begins, popped Super Ceramics give between 7-10 graveyard units.

It costs $24,000, and is unlocked with the other tier 5 Wizard Monkey tier 5 upgrades for 1500.

Summary[]

Much stronger undead bloons make it deal a huge amount of damage to weaker bloons. If there's a lot of weaker bloons, it won't have much trouble at all. Support it with defenses that handle stronger bloons.

Tips[]

0-2-5 usually offers the better results for Prince of Darkness, as its undead bloons already ignore walls, and because damage scale also affects spawned Walls of Fire.
- Additionally, the only thing that 2-0-5 adds is +1 damage to the base bolt projectile, and letting the projectile seek, which isn't very useful as the bolt is already dwarfed by the strength of the undead bloons.
