Piercing Darts is the first upgrade for the Dart Monkey in BTD4. It upgrades the Dart Monkey to pierce through two bloons each dart.
It costs $120 on Easy, $140 on Normal and $150 on Hard.
Appearance[]
The monkey itself doesn't change, aside of getting a yellow arrow over it's head indicating that the tower is upgraded.
The icon shows two bloons getting hit by the same dart, signaling the extra pierce.
Strategy[]
This upgrade increases the dart monkey's popping power. The extra pierce can be good to upgrade instead of buying another tower, but that isn't always the case.
If you can skip the upgrade to save money, just do it, as it doesn't bring that much by itself.
