~ BTDB2 description
Perishing Potions is the 2nd upgrade on Path 2 for the Alchemist in Bloons TD Battles 2. It is similar to its BTD6 counterpart, but considerably changed. Perishing Potions has improved base damage and speed for all its offensive attacks. Alongside faster corrosion from its previous upgrade (1 damage per 1.33s for 4.0s), Perishing Potions deals 5 MOAB-class damage, strips fortification from non-blimp bloons, but deals only 12 Fortified MOAB-class damage. Potions deal 2 direct damage to all other bloon types with each potion splash. When given as a crosspath for brews, it increases AMD shots from 10 to 13, and improves brews by increasing duration by +1.0s, shots by +15, and downtime from 5s to 4s.
An extra amount of base damage as well as dealing a large amount of MOAB-class and Fortified MOAB-class damage. Also, the defortification of Ceramics makes beating Fortified innards less difficult to deal with. This combination makes it a great choice for chipping further at Bloons as well as dealing high amounts of Fortified damage.
Tips[]
The 1-2-0 Perishing Potions is better for splashing larger groups of Bloons while carrying over to Berserker Brew, while 0-2-1 better optimises the Perishing Potion attack generally. Also, 2-2-0 can be used for AMD stacking, whereas 0-2-2 adds stockpilability of these defortifying attacks.

As previously mentioned, Ninja and Alchemist have become too dominant recently. Alchemist is super effective in providing solid early game DPS despite its primary role being a support tower. Its strengths in early game DPS, buffing support, and cash generation gives Alchemist too many strong points. Therefore, we’ve decided to lower its early game DPS and money generation.
