Per-Shot Basis is an attack style that characterizes an attack that alternates on a per-shot or per-bloon basis. It is part of the damage types family.

Per-Shot Basis is represented in the Bloons Wiki as Per-Shot Basis (unspecified variants and style of alternating projectiles), the upgrade portrait for Recursive Cluster in Bloons TD 6, which represents a notable example of a per-shot basis, in this case every two shots. It is not the same as Alternating Weapons Alternating Shots (unspecified variants and style of alternating separate shots), because the origin remains the same but the projectile shot differs, despite similarities shared between the types of alternation from the two properties. Per-Shot Basis is not the same as Multiple Targeting Multiple Targeting (unspecified variants and style of multiple targeting) (as is the case of Robo Monkey, which shoots from both arms simultaneously), but these properties can be together (e.g. Flying Fortress).

Some towers use the same weapon of origin but alternate between one attack or the other, which constitutes Per-Shot Basis Per-Shot Basis (unspecified variants and style of alternating projectiles). Examples include Sharp Shooter's crits (also previously had RNG Involves pure RNG (unspecified types of RNG involved that isn't controllable at all by the player) due to the uncontrollable variance formerly in its per-shot basis), Recursive Cluster's tertiary explosive bombs, Quincy's explosive arrows, and the per-bloon basis of Creepy Idol's blowback. COBRA's Bloon Adjustment effects run on a per-bloon basis too.

All towers require an upgrade to gain Per-Shot Basis, as there are no towers or heroes that have this property by default.

After the version 34.0 update, Tech Terror and Anti-Bloon do critical hits every 3 ability usages; this constitutes as Per-Shot Basis Per-Shot Basis (unspecified variants and style of alternating projectiles).

When accounting for multiple attacks that are shot depending on the number of shots of another (e.g. Flash Bomb's bombs for every 4th shuriken), this is an example of a per-shot basis, and hence constitutes as Per-Shot Basis Per-Shot Basis (unspecified variants and style of alternating projectiles). For multiple attacks whose shots are independent from the number of shots of another (e.g. Fireball's fireballs and bolts), these do not constitute as a per-shot basis.
