The Party Bloon, also referred to as the Party BAD, is a variant of the BAD in Bloons TD 6. It is exclusive to the "Bloons TD 6 Birthday Party" Quest, introduced in version 37.0. It appears as a BAD with both the Piñata BAD and Party Hat Bloons skins.

The Quest can be completed even after the anniversary Event is complete, meaning the Party Bloon can be fought at any time on the current version.

The Party Bloon spawns on Round 38 from the left entrance on Quad. It moves much more slowly than a normal BAD and travels in a full loop around the path, exiting from the same point it entered from, rather than exiting on the opposite side.

It is also known that this existed before Boss Rush, which was 6 updates before Boss Rush was introduced.

Mechanics[]

While the Party Bloon has similar properties to a normal BAD, such as taking extra damage from Artillery Battery and being immune to any version of Stun or Slowdown, it has several differences. Rather than spawning children, popping the Party Bloon causes it to instantly respawn in place. Each time it is popped, the Player is granted $10,000-$12,000 (???). In addition, it gains 2% of its HP in the style shown in the formula below. The objective of the quest is to pop it as many times as possible before it exits.

The formula for the Party Bloon is as follows:

The 20000 is the starting HP, the 1.02 represents the 2% increase, and "n" is the number of times the Party Bloon has been popped. It will almost double every 35 Pops, being just a few short.

The Party Bloon is immune to all true instakills, including both types of Navarch of the Seas hooks, and the Legend of the Night's portal. (Megalodon is not true instakill because it can't instakill BADs on higher rounds) The only way to hurt it is through raw damage. The Party Bloon, being technically a BAD in terms of bloon properties, are not affected by Extra Damage to Boss but vulnerable to Percentage Damage sources such as instant health-reduction sources (only affects descendents after the activated trigger, however) from Grand Saboteur's activated ability and Ascended Shadow's passive ability, but not Ezili's MOAB Hex.

Strategy[]

Summary[]

The Party Bloon should be treated like a practice Boss Bloon, but with the juicy reward of extra cash every time you "pop" it. The general trend is to start damaging the Party Bloon with a reliable starter single-target option such as Sticky Bomb or the Overdrive + Embrittlement combo. Unlike when handing Boss Bloons, focus on killing each tier of the Party Bloon as the prime source of income (in addition to the three provided 2-0-0 Farms). Transition into a stronger single-target option such as Avatar of Wrath and M.A.D, and then progress towards accruing pops for fairly cheap Paragons such as Glaive Dominus. Note that, as a BAD, the Party Bloon won't be vulnerable to extra damage from all Paragons, being technically not a real Boss Bloon, but in not being one, it does get affected by Ascended Shadow's instant health reduction.

Tips[]

  • Ascended Shadow is currently the best Paragon for beating the Party Bloon. The instant 25% health reduction helps accrue heaps of Party Bloon pops quickly.
  • Repositioning towers is useful if the Party Bloon is out of range, and selling may be necessary to achieve repositioning quickly.

Trivia[]

  • The icon is Pinata BAD, and all Bloons will be wearing Party Hats. If the Player has Trophy Store exclusive vanity, it will not replace the party accessories.
  • Strangely, although not technically a Boss Bloon, it counts towards the Bosses Popped statistic in a Player Profile. Even stranger, it counts towards the BADs Popped statistic as well.
  • This is the only Bloon to have the same parent and child. The relationship also includes its current state. Essentially, because it pops into itself, and it can pop an effectively infinite amount of times, it is the only Bloon with a recursive parent-child relationship.
  • The Party Bloon has an exponential formula, and will thus eventually reach an overflow value. However, this is impossible to reach legitimately, as the HP grows too large to fight effectively before the Party Bloon flees. A list of reference values for the formula and it's ability to grow very big very quickly can be found in this Google Doc. Note that most of the values are not helpful, and are for entertainment purposes.
