Overdrive
Overdrive is the 4th upgrade on Path 3 of the Tack Shooter in Bloons TD Battles 2. It gives a 3x attack speed increase compared to Tack Sprayer and +1 pierce, like its BTD6 counterpart. However, the cost is increased to account for its high single-target prowess and general fast attack speed.
Crosspaths improve Overdrive's performance. It attacks every 0.35s, cooldown decreased to every 0.2625s (+33%) with 1-0-4 and 0.1575s with 2-0-4 (+66%, +122% overall attack speed). Pierce by +1 with 0-2-4, and range by +4 each Path 2 crosspath.
It costs $3,400, and is unlocked by default.

Summary[]
An extremely fast attacker that shreds MOAB-class and does decent weaker grouped bloon damage. It can decrease the strength of grouped rushes, chipping off layers; this is mostly useful to assist a Ring of Fire to not waste pierce on Purples.
Tips[]
- 2-0-4 is better than 0-2-4, as Overdrive already gains a reasonable pierce boost.
