Overdrive is the 4th upgrade on Path 3 of the Tack Shooter in Bloons TD Battles 2. It gives a 2x attack speed increase compared to Tack Sprayer and +1 pierce, like its BTD6 counterpart. However, the cost is increased to account for its high single-target prowess and general fast attack speed.

It costs $3,400, and is unlocked by default.

Strategy

Summary

An extremely fast attacker that shreds MOAB-class and does decent weaker grouped bloon damage. It can decrease the strength of grouped rushes, chipping off layers; this is mostly useful to assist a Ring of Fire to not waste pierce on Purples.

Tips

• 2-0-4 is better than 0-2-4, as Overdrive already gains a reasonable pierce boost.
