Get ready to throw down in the throne room! The Bloons are after the Monkey King's crown in an all new intermediate map, Over-Throne! Place your royal protectors on the thrones and power them up to lead your forces to victory! For the Monkey King!
~ Version 4.2 update notes

Over-Throne is an Intermediate track in Bloons TD 5 Mobile and Bloons TD 5 Steam, introduced in version 4.2.

Overview[]

Over-Throne is set in a throne room. There are two paths, which enter from the left and right sides, converge in the middle, split on opposite sides in front of the thrones, then finally reconvene and exit at the top.

The knight statues and candelabras act as unplaceable land. Additionally, towers cannot be placed anywhere in the center except on the thrones.

Thrones[]

The two thrones on this track function identically to the "Sockets of Power" on The Crucible. Each throne grants +15% range and 5x attack speed to any tower placed on top of it. Mortar Towers, Monkey Aces, Heli Pilots, Banana Farms, Bloonsday Devices, and Bloonsday Device Pros cannot be placed on the thrones, as they are too large to fit. Heli Pilots cannot fit even when using the tier 3 or tier 4 Heli Hangar.

Strategy[]

Playing the track in reverse allows the two thrones to target bloons first, rather than being stationed at the back. This allows towers placed on the thrones to take the majority of the workload.

Placing more powerful towers on the thrones makes for an overall greater power increase, so selling your towers on the thrones in favor of a more powerful tower will yield a higher overall popping power.

Trivia[]

  • Over-Throne is a play on "overthrown" and "throne".
