Open Season is a Relic Knowledge exclusive to Contested Territory in Bloons TD 6. It appears to be added into in-game code for a long time ago, at least since Version 35.2. According to the in-game description, it suggests that Open Season allows all team members to attack any tile on the entire island.
Trivia[]
An "open season" is the time of year when hunting of a species becomes legal. A possible definitive correlation between the Relic icon and the name "open season" could be how hunters can use rifles to specifically hunt for prey from extreme distances.
