Night Vision Goggles is the first upgrade of Path 2 for the Sniper Monkey in Bloons TD Battles 2. This upgrade allows the Sniper Monkey to detect Camo Bloons, additionally allows the Sniper Monkey to deal +2 damage to Camo Bloons and gain Camo Prioritization target option.

It costs $200.

Summary[]

A relatively straightforward upgrade, giving the Sniper camo detection and allowing it to deal more damage to Camos. Since there is Camo Prioritization in this game, it can be worthwhile to let a Sniper specifically target Camos. Usually, it is best to assume Night Vision Goggles is a purely camo-detecting upgrade, as a Sniper is still quite slow with this upgrade.

Tips[]

Crosspaths with Night Vision Goggles vary depending on its purpose, although mostly geared in terms of Shrapnel Shot.
For tower combos that otherwise have poor early-game Camo, a Night Vision Goggles Sniper can suffice against early Jericho Camos on Rounds 8-11. Set on Camo Priority for that specific purpose.
