Hub of Monkey trades earns colossal income each round.
”
~ BTDB2 description
Monkey Wall Street is the fifth upgrade of Path 3 for the Banana Farm in BTDB2. It gives $10,000 at the end of each round, on top of the usual Central Market benefits.
Ignoring the end-of-round cash bonus, the tower generates 14 groups of bananas worth $160 each, giving it a net income each round of $2240. A 2-0-5 Wall Street produces 18 bunches of bananas, each worth $160, for a total per round of $2880. A 0-2-5 Wall Street produces 14 bunches of bananas, each worth $200, for a total of $2800 per round.
It costs $46,000, and is unlocked with the other tier 5 Banana Farm upgrades for 1500.
A very cost-efficient Farm whose high cost makes it not so difficult to approach compared to other T5 Farms. Earning a whopping $10k at the end of each round, it’s not too hard to afford extra defense and/or sell the Monkey Wall Street if in a tricky situation.
Tips[]
The difference in terms of how much money is made between the crossspaths are so minute especially in the face of a $10k bonus at the end of each round that either crosspath is viable, however 2-0-5 does produce $80 more than 0-2-5.
By performing a successful greeding strategy with Farms, it is possible to get a Monkey Wall Street comfortably by the early 20's.
To greed for a Wall Street, calculate collective sell values beforehand, especially for other Farms, and try to get Wall Street just before the round ends. Make sure to account for a minimum of one Central Market to obviously upgrade to Wall Street.
Monkey Wall Street is slightly less cost-efficient than a 5-2-0 Banana Central but easier to save up towards and comes with higher sellback by default.
Version History[]
Monkey Wall Street was overall buffed in Bloons TD Battles 2. Its popularity has risen greatly due to its very low cost to accelerate income while also coming with bonus sellback via Banana Salvage. It received a minor price nerf in Version 1.3.1 and 1.4.1, but nonetheless has become a popular staple in late-game Banana Farm strategies.

Balancing farms and income is always a tricky area because it’s such a fundamental part of the game, and any changes will be controversial because the community is divided on which direction it should go. Currently, the optimal competitive playstyle with farms is more passive than we would like it to be, so we would like to give a buff to early-game farms. With this change, we hope to encourage farm players to build more farms in the early game rather than building income first and transitioning to farms later. Ideally, this will lead to more interesting games between farm players, by giving them more rushing potential in the early/mid-game. Additionally, we have reduced the efficiency of the higher-tier farms, to balance out how much money farm players will get in the late game. We will closely monitor how this affects the game and be receptive to more changes in future updates.
