Monkey Sense is the second upgrade of Path 2 for the Monkey Apprentice in Bloons TD 5. It lets the apprentice attack camo bloons but will not grant detection to other towers. This upgrade is like the Crystal Ball premium, but it does not increase the Wizard's range.

It costs $255 on Easy, $300 on Medium, $325 on Hard and $360 on Impoppable.

Appearance[]

The upgrade picture is of a wizard's hat. Monkey Sense increases the hat size of the apprentice's hat. The eyes are no longer visible. The tower icon becomes rather like the monkey is tensing its hands and mouth, looking like as if it were emphasizing its physical strength.

Tips[]

Buy this upgrade once there is an abundance of Camo Bloons or in preparations for Camo Bloons. Do not simply buy it pre-emptively without knowing Camo Bloons are an imminent threat.

The Monkey Sense upgrade makes the Monkey Apprentice attack slightly faster. It can be further evidenced from buying a Jungle Drums Monkey Village next to the x/2 Monkey Apprentice.
This may be based on Spider-Man's Spider Sense.
In BTD5, the upgrade artwork shows no sign of its legs anywhere.
BMC Monkey Sense's upgrade portrait appears in the now discontinued BMC watch merchandise.
