Monkey Money (
) is a currency in Bloons TD Battles 2. It is used to unlock new towers, tier 5 upgrades, heroes, Hero Rewards and Monkey Mastery cosmetics. It also can be used to instantly complete the Bling Season (with price being equal to Golden Bananas required to complete) and for purchasing Blings in the Shop.
Monkey Money can be acquired primarily through battles:
- Ranked and Clan War battles give
50 on win and 20 on loss, with extra 10 granted by winning the game with First Blood. - Casual Mode battles give 20 on win and 10 on loss, with extra 10 for First Blood.
- Private Matches give no Monkey Money at all.
Outside of battles, there are several ways of earning Monkey Money:
- Arena Leagues weekly result (only if in the promotion zone)
- Event Theatre goals:
- Regular Event mode: up to 425
- Holiday Event: up to 700
- Pre-season Event: up to 1500
- Regular Event mode: up to
- Playing Clan War games (50, once per day)
- Shop:
- Daily Monkey Money (sometimes replaced with free Hero XP)
- Free chest for an ad/Reward Booster (100). Can be claimed once every 4 hours.
- Watching an ad/Using a Reward Booster (10-40) once every 4 hours.
- Player also can earn 50 through an ad/Reward Booster if they are 50 Monkey Money or less short on buying something.
Upon joining the Club Membership, player gets 2000 and all their future Monkey Money earnings are doubled.
