Monkey Money is the Main currency (one of the main currencies in Mobile) in Bloons TD 5. Monkey Money is used for many things, including buying Special Agents, Specialty Buildings, Tokens (on Steam), Premiums (on Steam), and to play Extreme Tracks. Note that MM on Steam is Doubled.
Ways to get Monkey Money[]
- Opening the Daily Chest (Mobile gives rewards frequently, not every day)
- Beating Maps (all difficulties except for extreme gives a 1-4x multiplier depending on the difficulty)
- Quests
- Random/Special missions
- Daily Challenges (no longer available for BTD5 Flash as of May 1st, 2022)
- Boss Bloons (not every time, and only on Mobile)
In Bloons TD 5 Flash, the Daily Chest gives between 10-20 Monkey Money (unconfirmed), and every subsequent day gives a multiplier of 1-5x (some days do not increase the multiplier). In Mobile, Monkey Money is given every 3 days or so. Every 30th day gives 2x Money for 3 days.

Random Missions gives between 50 and 200(?) Monkey Money. Special Missions are only available on the mobile version(?) of BTD5. After you complete a Special Mission once, you can still receive Monkey Money, but not as much as you got when you completed it for the first time.
