Tips
Monkey Meadow is one of the easiest map in the game, among with Cubism, Frozen Over and Logs. But there's some towers you may want to make your life easier:
- Tack Shooter. There're two loops for you to choose. The Tack Zone can do ton of chip damage at M.O.A.B. Class Bloons and Super Ceramic Bloons at the second loop can be clean up with Ring of Fires, or, if you're very rich, an Inferno Ring. It's your choice.
- Dart Monkey. Crossbow is a good, easy bloon popping tower. And why shouldn't you buy Sharp Shooter and Crossbow Master? They're cheap and effective. Just remember to put them on a straight line for maximum defense.
- Bomb Shooter. Is Recursive Clusters and Stronger Stimulants plus Striker Jones enough to defend late game? Of course not! Get a Monkey Intelligence Bureau in the middle and complete the Dark Dirigible Titan (D.D.T.) popping team.
- Mortar Monkey. Shattering Shells is exceptionally good, especially on this map, where there are many loops on the map. On the 1st loop, no Fortified Bloon shall pass (except D.D.Ts, Z.O.M.Gs and B.A.Ds). Or The Biggest One if you want.
Strategies
Hard.
(Note that the Hard Mode strategy should work for all easier modes (excluding deflation).
- An early game (3-40) strategy for normal hard mode is to place a free Dart Monkey (if you have the Monkey Knowledge that gives you a free Dart Monkey) to begin, then place Gwendolyn as soon as you can. You will leak some lives, but not enough to put you in immediate danger. When you have the money, place a Spike Factory. When you can, upgrade it to 0-2-3. A Banana Farm is recommended to have the money to purchase this. A Wizard Monkey (0-2-2) should be placed before round 30 for additional popping power. Soon after, upgrade the Wizard Monkey to 0-2-4 for even more popping power!
- Around midgame (40-60) You can start saving up cash for stronger upgrades. Placing 1 or two more Banana Farms is recommended. At round 57 or 58, you should have enough money to purchase a Crossbow Master.
- By round 67 you should have enough money to purchase a second Crossbow Master (if you have the required Monkey Knowledge), and that will leave you with Hard mode completed on Monkey Meadow!
