Monkey Intelligence Bureau is the 3rd upgrade on Path 2 of the Monkey Village in Bloons TD Battles 2. It is very similar to its BTD6 counterpart. It gives all towers in range on the Monkey Village the Normal Damage Type, which allows them to pop all bloon types and any combination of these types.
It costs $5,000, and is unlocked with the purchase of Village.
MIB proves to be an effective counter to DDTs (provided the right towers are in range), allowing towers to bypass the multple immunites of these fast blimps with 100% uptime. What is even better is that it already comes with Radar Scanner, which means that any tower with any upgrades (of course, with the ability to attack the bloons) under the range of MIB can damage the DDT. However, it is quite expensive and doesn't improve the towers in any other area besides damage type and a small range boost which means DDTs may still get past the opponent if their DPS isn't high enough.
Tips[]
MIB is best used with 2-3-0. The range boost to the village allows more towers to be affected with the buff and Jungle Drums provides another area of support by allowing tower to attack faster, enabling them to have an easier time handling DDT rushes sent by the opponent.

“
There aren’t many strategies that depend on MIB, so we’ve made a decent price cut to it while increasing the x4x price so that this upgrade doesn’t indirectly receive a buff.

Trivia[]
MIB is much more expensive than its BTD5 Generation counterparts, even to the extent of the BTDB2 upgrade alone costing more than the collective costs of a BTDB1 Mobile MIB.
