Monkey Business is the 1st upgrade on Path 3 of the Monkey Village in Bloons TD Battles 2. With this upgrade, all towers and their upgrades up to Tier 3 are discounted by 10%, and gives a 10% refund on the purchase of base towers and Heroes placed within said radius. The discount does not affect upgrades above Tier 3 nor affect any Heroes's upgrades. Unlike Monkey Commerce, the next upgrade, the Monkey Business effect cannot stack with other Monkey Businesses.

A small discount that can be used to make purchasing lower-tier upgrades easier. It has most effect on expensive towers such as Super Monkeys. Its later upgrade Monkey Commerce, while stronger in discount value, can be used to further amplify the discounts, although Monkey Business serves as a simpler discount upgrade that is more forgiving in the early-game.
Tips[]
- The crosspath choice is based on the needs of the defense. Top path is typically used in order to discount more upgrades and eventually boost their attack speed, while middle path is used when camo detection is needed for the midgame rounds.
