Midnight Mansion is an Advanced Map in Bloons TD 6, and was released in Version 33.0, along with the community map Covered Garden and the Goliath Doomship.
Overview[]
The track takes place inside a haunted mansion during a storm. Upstairs, bloons simultaneously appear from two portals in the upper corners of the map, moving straight across a shared track on the upper floor to a staircase on the opposite side of their respective portal, then traveling downstairs and moving back towards the middle before going up and exiting through another portal in the center of the room. Spawned bloons cannot be attacked until they have left their portals, and on-track attacks and powers cannot be placed on portals.
Upstairs by each portal are two drawers covered by clutter. Players can clear away the clutter on each drawer for $250, allowing towers to be placed on them.
Four lines of runes are scorched into the carpet throughout the map; one vertical line in the middle of the shared track upstairs, one horizontal line on each of the staircases to the left and right, and one vertical line beneath the exit portal, separating the two tracks. Starting on round 1, the top and bottom runes will ignite with glowing white fire which blocks line of sight. On round 3, these will extinguish and the left and right runes will ignite instead. The flames alternate like this every two rounds, blocking line of sight for all towers except those placed on the upstairs drawers
Notably, there is no space to place Banana Farms or Heli Pilots due to their large footprints. Similarly, water towers cannot be placed without the use of the Lord of the Abyss since there is no space for a Portable Lake. One Monkey Ace can be placed on each drawer, although this effectively limits players to two aces at most, one short of the three needed to summon a Goliath Doomship.

Summary[]
In general, this is a very tight map with little room for towers with larger footprints. While the bloons effectively share a track at the beginning of the map, simultaneous defense of both tracks becomes difficult if bloons are allowed to reach the stairs. Additionally, the alternating fire walls limit the effectiveness of long range towers unless they are placed on the drawers. Consider consolidating your towers in either the top left or top right corner of the map, as bloons on both tracks will be forced to pass through these areas, allowing for a concentrated defense despite the map's limitations.
Tips[]
- Each cleared drawer can fit one tower with a footprint larger than the Boomerang Monkey but smaller than the Heli Pilot and Banana Farm.
- Sauda can comfortably start a game on this map.

Trivia[]
- This is the first map in Bloons TD 6 where water towers are completely inaccessible, even with powers, on launch. It is also the first map in Bloons TD 6 that has zero space for Heli Pilots or Banana Farms.
- By extension, this also makes the Monkeyopolis upgrade inaccessible without the use of an Insta Monkey.
- Similarly, Vengeful True Sun God cannot be attained as three Super Monkeys with tier 5 upgrades are required but only a maximum of two can be placed, making this also the first map where it is inaccessible.
- Rosalia's workshop can be placed on the carpet despite having the same footprint as the Heli Pilot. This is likely due to a bug with her footprint size being much smaller while being placed.
- With the introduction of the Lord of the Abyss in version 44.0, water towers can now be placed in this map, but only medium footprint or smaller water towers can be placed.
- The carpet section of the map is coded to only allow placement of medium footprint towers or smaller, despite clearly having enough room for large footprint towers.
- The Monklish writing on the map reads "stop" for the word at the top, "noway" for the ones on the stairs, and "nomonke" for the bottom one.
- In Event 19 of Contested Territory, there were three Banner Tiles of Least Cash on Midnight Mansion. One of the tiles also contains a Heli Pilot despite being completely unplaceable (example of this is shown in a post from r/btd6), and one of them a Banana Farm with a similar problem.
